The challenge

When The Superyacht Gathering reached out to D&Co with a brief to help support the development of an enduring movement to make a real difference to the superyacht community by inspiring others to change and navigate the way ahead we jumped at the chance.

Our solution

It's not very often that these types of passion led briefs land on our desk but we were thrilled that Linda reached out to us.

From the get go we were very clear in our objectives for the project and wanted to ensure that we delivered a deeper connection to the superyacht community, the planet and the oceans we share. We then worked on simple, powerful values with Linda; Altruism At Our Core; Being Authentic and Welcoming; Creating Memorable Learning Experiences; Inspiring Positive Change; and Developing Deep Connections.

The ultimate aim of The Superyacht Gathering is to create an enduring movement that makes a real difference to the superyacht community by inspiring others to change and helping to shape the superyacht industry for the good.

And we're already welcoming inspiring speakers to The Superyacht Gathering events. Speakers like Cliona O'Flatery, the resident Marine Biologist at Kokomo Island who shares the work they're doing on the Kokomo Manta Conservation Project to Jonathan Beckett CEO of Burgess discussing their Blue Ocean's Programme, and Angela Pennefather sharing her work with Papua New Guinea communities.

From our powerful brand strategy, values and story we developed a supporting visual identity taking cues from across Oceania cultures, design and art.
