New Life Biologics, an innovative pharmaceutical start-up, has been developing a range of breakthrough products to challenge the industry status quo. As they approached their business and product launch, they reached out to D&Co to help them stand out distinctly from the competition.

The challenge

As a new business with an innovative range of products, New Life Biologics approached D&Co to analyse the market opportunity and develop a fresh, exciting, and differentiated brand strategy, positioning, and visual identity. They were also looking for a partner to assist with go-to-market, marketing, and social media strategies and execution.

Creating a breakthrough brand for a game-changing start-up.

Our solution

With an exciting new product suite ready to go to market, New Life Biologics required a fresh new brand to position themselves as an exciting new business ready to shake up the industry.

The team delved into the details, conducting a comprehensive industry-wide competitor review, exploring comparators, and teasing out a new and differentiated territory to own. We set a long-term ambition to revolutionise the life sciences industry, leading the charge in shaping a smarter, more sustainable future. This led to an essence where nature, science, and technology unite for a better world.

From there, it was time to explore the right brand architecture, landing on a 'branded house' to build equity into both the master brand and the product at the same time. The team then crafted a bespoke word mark, monogram, and an extensive visual identity for both the master brand and the new product suite, as well as product naming. With a soft launch looming at an Expo in San Diego, multiple brand activations were required, with the team accelerating the development of the website, brochures, sample packs, expo stand elements, and a range of other elements.

We're delighted with this initial wave of brand work and are now in the thick of developing the go-to-market strategy, alongside the marketing and social strategy.
